A Real Idaho Springs Mountain Wedding: Luxury Restrooms for 100 Guests

What does a luxury restroom trailer actually look like at a Colorado mountain wedding?

That's a question we hear from couples planning outdoor weddings, private-property celebrations, and events at Colorado venues where permanent restroom facilities may be limited.

So rather than just tell you, we thought we'd show you.

On August 15, 2026, Altitude Restroom Suites had the opportunity to provide our 2-Station Luxury Restroom Trailer for a beautiful wedding of approximately 100 guests in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

The setting was everything you'd expect from a Colorado mountain wedding: trees, mountain views, an outdoor reception, live music, and guests enjoying an incredible summer evening.

And tucked quietly into the property was our restroom trailer.

One of our favorite things about this video is actually how little the restroom trailer demands your attention.

It's there when guests need it, but it doesn't become the focal point of the property.

For couples putting so much thought into their venue, flowers, tables, lighting, landscaping, and mountain views, that's important.

A restroom trailer should complement your event — not distract from it.

Why a 2-Station Restroom Trailer Worked for This 100-Guest Wedding

For this wedding of approximately 100 guests, our 2-Station Luxury Restroom Trailer was a great fit.

Instead of traditional portable toilets, guests had access to two completely private restroom suites.

The trailer includes:

  • A private women's restroom suite

  • A private men's restroom suite with urinal

  • Flushing toilets

  • Running water

  • Sinks and mirrors

  • Interior lighting

  • Climate control

  • Finished interiors designed to feel much more like a permanent restroom

For many weddings in this guest-count range, a 2-station trailer provides a great balance between guest comfort and keeping the trailer footprint manageable on the property.

Restrooms That Don't Take Away From the Setting

One concern couples sometimes have when planning an outdoor wedding is understandably:

"Is a restroom trailer going to look out of place at our venue?"

That's one of the reasons we love the video from this Idaho Springs wedding.

Look closely and you'll see the trailer sitting in the background while the reception is happening around it.

It isn't competing with the mountains.

It isn't the first thing guests notice.

It's simply there, providing a clean and comfortable restroom experience when someone needs it.

For us, that's exactly how it should be.

Mountain Wedding Logistics Don't Always Go According to Plan

Beautiful mountain properties can also come with unique logistical challenges.

Driveways, changing weather, narrow access points, other vendors, delivery schedules, uneven terrain, and last-minute activity on a property can all affect setup.

This wedding gave us a great real-world example.

We had been communicating with the family in the weeks leading up to the event to coordinate delivery, access, and timing.

Then, on setup day, an unexpected delivery of gravel arrived for the driveway around the same time we were preparing to deliver the restroom trailer.

Suddenly, the original timing wasn't ideal.

No problem.

We adjusted.

Our approach was simple:

Whatever makes your life easiest, we'll work around it.

We coordinated around the activity at the property, adjusted our timing, delivered and positioned the trailer, and made sure everything was clean, prepared, and ready before guests needed it.

For us, providing a luxury restroom trailer isn't just about delivering equipment.

It's also about communication, flexibility, and making one part of a complicated event easier.

What Did Guests Think?

After the wedding, we received a review from someone who attended the reception.

They described the restroom suites as:

"Perfectly clean, spacious and very luxurious."

They also said the experience was:

"Like visiting a real top quality hotel bathroom."

And perhaps our favorite part:

"All the ladies at the event were super impressed!"

That's exactly the reaction we're hoping for.

A restroom probably isn't going to be the reason someone attends your wedding.

But when guests walk inside expecting a temporary bathroom and instead find a clean, comfortable, well-lit restroom with flushing toilets and running water?

They notice.

Planning Restrooms for an Idaho Springs Wedding

If you're planning a wedding in Idaho Springs or elsewhere in the Colorado foothills, there are a few restroom-trailer logistics worth considering early in the planning process.

Placement

The trailer needs a suitable location where we can safely deliver, position, and retrieve it.

Mountain properties can have narrow driveways, slopes, trees, landscaping, gates, or other access considerations, so discussing placement ahead of time can make setup much easier.

Power

Our 2-station trailer typically requires a dedicated 120V, 20-amp electrical outlet within approximately 100 feet for standard operation.

We provide and use our own heavy-duty extension cord.

If suitable power isn't available, generator service can be arranged.

Water

Our trailer operates using an onboard fresh-water tank.

The preferred setup is access to a standard outdoor water spigot within approximately 100 feet of the trailer. We can fill the onboard fresh-water tank before the event and disconnect the hose, allowing the trailer to operate independently during the celebration.

If there isn't a suitable water source nearby, Altitude can also bring water and pump it into the trailer before the event.

Guest Count

Guest count, event duration, alcohol service, and the availability of any other permanent restrooms on the property can all influence which trailer size makes the most sense.

For this Idaho Springs wedding of approximately 100 guests, our 2-station trailer was a great fit.

For larger weddings, we can help determine whether additional restroom capacity would provide a better guest experience.

Luxury Restroom Trailers for Colorado Mountain Weddings

Idaho Springs is exactly the kind of place that makes Colorado weddings special.

It's also the kind of location where restroom planning can require a little more thought than it would at a traditional indoor venue.

Altitude Restroom Suites provides luxury restroom trailer rentals for weddings and events throughout Idaho Springs, the Colorado foothills, Denver, the Front Range, and mountain communities throughout Colorado.

Our goal is simple:

Provide a beautiful, exceptionally clean restroom experience for your guests — and make the delivery, setup, and logistics as easy as possible for you.

Because on your wedding day, the restroom trailer should already be handled.
